The professionals at Tree Stump Masters use the SP7015 TRX 60-horsepower track machine that features a wireless remote control, 4-speed ground drive system, traction control, and telescoping tracks.
48to35in
The tracks are extendable and retractable. They hydraulically contract from 48 to 35 inches for tight working conditions, with maximum climbing power and minimal lawn disruption. That is how a stump beside a deck or tight to the house gets reached.
4speed
The four-speed track system lets the operator choose between a high-speed travel mode and a high-torque cutting mode at the flip of a switch. A 4-speed ground drive system and traction control come with it, all run from the wireless remote.
70in
The turntable keeps the engine low and level during operation. It is the reason for the giant 70-inch swing travel, so one setup covers a wide arc of the stump and its roots.
3.2psi
The compact unit produces only 3.2 psi of ground pressure, which is why the yard is still a yard when the stump is gone. See stump grinding or stump removal for how the jobs run.
“He removed a massive oak stump in our back yard in a hard to reach spot right next to our deck. He was able to operate the machine around the deck and remove the stump for us.”
Chris S, on-site review
“His machine is on rubber tracks and remote controlled.”
Tim Johnson
“I asked him to drive the machine closer to one side of the yard as to not go on the neighbors side and he made it work (the grinder didn’t end up messing up the lawn anyways).”
